True gem for the weary traveler

You know, there was this homemade breakfast, the kind that reminds you of a time when life was simpler. I got an amazing steak that was cooked just right, and the butcher himself gave me advice on it, such personal service you don’t expect at a place like this.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly for what you get, it's acceptable.

great food but disappointing shower

The food served was incredibly delicious and a highlight of our stay. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a lovely atmosphere for our meals.

The shower pressure in our room was very slow, which was quite frustrating.

Just had a splendid stay! The breakfast was phenomenal, especially the perfectly cooked eggs and sausages. Plus, that huge, fluffy bed made for a comfy night's rest. Can't wait to visit again!

I had an excellent stay at a lovely hotel where the spacious room had a huge comfy bed and the perfect shower. I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with beautiful views and sipping coffee in the garden. The shower floor was a bit slippery, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment! ☕

Awesome steak experience!

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a blast! The steak was seriously the best I've ever had. The owners really know their stuff. Staff was super helpful, even when we had a mix-up with our dinner reservation—they got us sorted out right away. The bar area was cozy, but wish there were more seating options.

I truly enjoyed the charming decor of The Curious Fox, which featured antique furnishings and period details. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, making it easy for seniors like myself to move around and feel at home.

Comfortable bed, excellent food, free wi-fi made our one-night stay enjoyable and convenient as we explored the area just steps from the main town.

Absolutely impeccable

the best part of the curious fox was def the staff, so warm and welcoming! plus the location was smack in the center, super easy to check out the castle and market. food was always delicious, like every meal was spot on. our room was really cozy too. honestly felt like we were at a friend's place rather than just another b&b.

but the only annoying thing was there wasn't a fan in the room, and it got kinda hot at night. also watch out for low beams if ur tall, i bumped my head a few times!
